Choose a region and route type based on where you need to connect

VPNMain covers 120+ countries and 170+ routes. The examples below show commonly used regions so you can compare exit locations and route types. They are not latency rankings or guarantees of streaming availability.

When choosing a route, first identify the region your target service requires, then check how it performs on your current network. Hong Kong and Singapore may suit everyday use; if you need an exit in Japan or North America, compare routes within the relevant region. Geographic distance is only one factor: your local network, international routing, and the target service’s response can all affect performance.

IEPL dedicated lines, relayed routes, and direct connections describe different routing setups; none is always faster. Keep a primary and a backup route, then test them with the websites, apps, and long-running connections you actually use. Avoid judging an entire route from a single test.

One subscription, connect to the platforms you use

Find guidance by task, from choosing a route to using your devices. Understand the limitations first, then test it in your own network environment.

Judge connection performance in the context of your actual tasks

Peak-hour performance depends on your local network, international routes, and the target service. VPNMain offers IEPL dedicated lines, relayed routes, and direct connections, letting you compare different paths under one subscription. When testing routes, keep the region constant and check page loads, file transfers, or session stability. If only one app has an issue, check its proxy settings instead of repeatedly refreshing the entire subscription. When switching routes, note the original route name so you can reproduce the issue and describe it in a support ticket.

  • Test during your usual hours, not just with a brief speed check.
  • Change one setting at a time and keep results you can compare.

From installation to verifying your connection route

For your first session, create an account in the panel and save your username and password, then choose a plan based on your usage. After downloading the client, return to the panel to get your subscription and import it by following the instructions for your platform. Seeing a route list only means the configuration has loaded; you still need to choose a route and connect. Once the client shows as connected, check your exit IP and the apps you use.

If websites work but one app doesn’t, check whether it uses the system proxy. If all apps have issues, check your local network, subscription status, and selected route. Don’t run multiple network proxy tools at once, as their settings may conflict. For everyday use, update your subscription periodically and keep an eye on your remaining data. See the setup guide for the full process, or read the user manual for platform-specific instructions.

Monthly plans for everyday data needs

Monthly plan data resets on the same date each month as your activation date. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated for the remaining days. Estimate video, file sync, and work usage across your usual devices before choosing a data tier. Devices are unlimited, so you don’t need to choose a higher tier just to add devices.

Common questions about accounts, data, and connections

Check your account status first, then review your client settings. These answers cover common questions when getting started. Find more topics in the help center.

Do I need an email address to create an account?

No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Keep your login details safe; your subscription and order information are available in the user panel. Login details and subscription links serve different purposes. Don’t send your subscription link as if it were a password or share screenshots containing personal credentials.

Can I use the same subscription on multiple devices?

Yes. There’s no limit on the number of devices connected at once. VPNMain supports Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux. Import the subscription and connect each device separately. Manage your plan’s data based on actual usage across all devices. A device being connected doesn’t mean a target app is using that route, so check each app individually.

What’s the difference between a monthly plan and a data package?

Monthly plan data resets on the same date each month as your activation date. Plans are ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB; mid-cycle upgrades are prorated for the remaining days. Data packages are ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. They remain available until used and never expire. Before choosing, consider whether you prefer monthly usage or more flexible usage, then compare the data you actually need.

Why can’t one of my apps connect when the client says it’s connected?

Connected means the client has established a connection; it doesn’t guarantee that every app uses the same proxy settings. Open a regular webpage to check your local connection, then check your exit IP and the app’s proxy settings. Browsers, editors, and terminals may need to be configured separately. If only one service has an issue, note the message and exit region. If all apps have issues, check your subscription status and compare a backup route. Use IP lookup to check the exit IP used by your current browser.

Where can I find refund and payment information?

VPNMain offers a 60-day refund policy and accepts Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. See the refund policy for application details; order and payment status are available in the user panel. To apply, submit a support ticket from the panel with the relevant order and your request. For technical issues, share only the necessary environment details and error messages, and hide your personal subscription information.

Connection checks and user notes

Practical notes based on real-world use: finish setup, then verify your exit location and app routing. When comparing subscription services, consider price, route performance, and refund terms together rather than focusing on one metric.

How to check if your VPN is working: test your exit IP and DNS leaks

Start by checking your browser’s exit IP, then verify DNS and app routing separately. Distinguish between the client being connected, the browser using the proxy, and the target app actually routing through it; don’t rely on the status icon alone.
